"my sincerest apologies."
and yet sincere just isn't enough.
words these days & it's compilation,
are just a pile; evidence of lost meaning.
sincere is now a letter closing and barely more,
for, much debatable, the truth in sincerity equates to rarity.
only sparsely are words ever said true and meant.
however, it is even the untrue that we believe.
why? well, quite frankly it is because we seek.
we seek something to hold on to.
perhaps that be the reason of our heartbreak,
the reason we cry in fetal position,
under the disappointing comfort of our blanket.
we hold on to words; unaccountable syllables and sounds.
we are what we eat say.
- mittens.
