‎"my sincerest apologies."
and yet sincere just isn't enough.
words these days & it's compilation,
are just a pile; evidence of lost meaning.
sincere is now a letter closing and barely more,
for, much debatable, the truth in sincerity equates to rarity.
only sparsely are words ever said true and meant.
however, it is even the untrue that we believe.
why? well, quite frankly it is because we seek.
we seek something to hold on to.
perhaps that be the reason of our heartbreak,
the reason we cry in fetal position,
under the disappointing comfort of our blanket.
we hold on to words; unaccountable syllables and sounds.
for we are what we say.

This Place.
There's this place I wish I was at.
A place where wandering is accepted,
Where life is tested.
Where I can be free from what holds me,
and where I can embrace the life that chose me.
To it's fullest.
To my fullest.
It all comes in time, the chance to live this life.
But as for now, I suppose I might
Embrace what is already given to me,
My adolescent life.

Throw the dart, I dare you.
What if I told you I'm falling apart?
That I'm not meant to stand.
That all you'd have to do is throw the dart...
And I'd fall faster than you'd think I can.

I've lost my sense of direction,
I've lost my passion to try.
I beg to get out of here,
An escape from the lies.

Painted Mirror
Oh dear sweet, naked palette.
Yet stained by the world's evils and lies.
That was you before you changed, oh my, oh my.
And now today you seem quite alike.
To the world's overrated "differences",
And eyes painted catlike.
However, tis not your outer that just changed.
But your inner too, mirrored and tattooed.
Your choice of words and slang,
Have clearly shown that you've joined the gang.
It's one thing to be original, your own person, your own you.
But you my dear are none of those because all you do is wear the same shoe.
You're a replica of them, but with indecency included in you.
Just you.
So don't let your ego fly through the roof,
You'll never be who you are, because at this rate you'll never be you.
And don't you think it's ironic that your gang is all about originality and truth to the soul?
Do as you please, my little funny fishbowl.

The Sun and Us
You feel the sun beating down on us,
The sand scorch between our toes.
Hear the oceans sing, and the winds harmonize.
Lay down our towels, our guard and our front.
Put out the food, the smiles and the hearts.
Because there's no where else i'd rather be.
I see your face, the sun in the corner.
Your smile in the middle.
I feel your hand, inching closer and closer.
I hear your heart beat.
thump thump thump
All i can do is smile back.
I can't tell you what love is.
But i can tell you how much it can hurt.

I can't understand why you see me.
But i can tell you why i see you.

Arms Opened Wide
I stand to God, with my arms opened wide.
And over you, this is the last time i cry.
Because i'm sick of spending my moments and my days
choosing whether to go or to stay.
In hopes that this is all just a bad night mare.
Some game you devised to give me a good scare.
That maybe you'll come back,
and we'll put this all in the past.
But no, I gave so much of my self to you.
When vice versa the feelings weren't even true.
You took my heart, and tore it apart.
I never even had yours to start.
I don't need to see it to believe it,
because even without seeing you; i still feel it.
For you, my arms are no longer opened wide,
I promise you, this will be the last time i cry.
